To Whom it may concern:
I am writing this reference letter on behalf of Chuck Montgomery. I am a Librarian Assistant for the Central Library Children’s Department in Conroe, TX for Montgomery County. I have many responsibilities, one of which is booking performers for our Summer Reading Program.
Chuck performed here at the library for our Summer Reading Program this year for the first time. He performed for two back-to-back programs for a total of 90 children and 40 adults and held them in the palm of his hand. His funny jokes and polished magic tricks captured their attention and held their attention for the 40 minute program, which is no easy feat these days given the myriad of extreme entertainment children are accustomed to.
It’s obvious to me that Chuck derives much pleasure from making people laugh and he has a unique ability to put people at ease within minutes of beginning his performance. He does this by providing good, clean fun and is very tuned in to his audience and their response to him. Chuck arrived early for his performance and agreed to stay after to make balloons for the kids, which was an added bonus.
