Dear Chuck
I apologize for taking such a long time to write to you my
appreciation for your excellent performance at our 5th
Annual Comedy Night Signature event.
From our initial viewing of your on-line performance the
entire committee felt like you were a good “fit” for our
religious based hospital; we have had a difficult time finding
funny performers that don’t fall back on sarcasm, cruel antics
and foul language. Imagine our elation when we heard Sylvester
Stallone telling bible stories!!!
Throughout the time leading up to the event I really
appreciated the e-mail and phone contact. After each
communication I felt more assured that you were going to give us
your best performance. It was impressive that you made the time
to connect with us on a personal, not merely professional,
level.
The evening of the event you made big points with the
committee when you showed up in your white dinner jacket . . .
dressed to embrace our LoveBoat Cruise theme . . . another
little thing that made a big impact on the evening. I was moved
by your desire for the show to be successful not just for your
review but for our hospital, patients’ and guests’ benefit.
Chuck, your humor is a true gift and we thank you for sharing
with us. Your fast paced wit had us all captured the entire
hour; the way you blend your humor, juggling, songs and balloon
work was a perfect balance of action and interaction. Mark -who
helped (?) sing “Run Around Sue”- hums the song to me every time
he sees me! The evening went too fast!
May our Father continue to bless you and hold you in his
care.
Shalom my friend,
